Patricia Milner, Ph.D.

Dr. Milner was elected to the board in 2013 and elected Vice President in November 2015. She is a 25 year resident of Pueblo, and grew up in Pueblo’s Hyde Park neighborhood. She holds a PhD in Educational Leadership, Research and Policy and from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, a MA from University of Colorado at Colorado Springs and a BA from Sterling College in Sterling, KS.

Dr. Milner currently serves as the Continuing Education Program Manager for Distance Learning at Colorado State University-Pueblo. She began her career in education teaching middle and High school English, Speech and Theatre at several schools in Southern Colorado and Southwestern Kansas. While pursuing her Master’s degree she served as a Career and Education coordinator at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Pueblo County Sprague center, working with youth, families and schools to support club members’ long term academic and career success. Later she served as the Assessment and Training Director for Boys & Girls Clubs of Pueblo County supporting grant funded programs including the Federal 21st Century Learning Communities grant to Freed Middle school. Prior to her current position at CSU-Pueblo, Dr. Milner served as Resource Specialist in the Gateway to College (high school dropout recovery) Program at Pueblo Community College.
